Using the traditional model of CSA (community Supported Agriculture), where community members purchase the share of products, in this case fresh coconuts (and maybe coconut food products) up front, we are hoping to raise enough money to:
1. Provide you directly with the best Mexican coconuts available which many people at this time do not have access to or have never seen simply because it is not being carried by the regular grocery stores, not even at wholefoods Market.
2. Work directly with a few Mexican farmers to provide us the coconuts so that we can eat better quality coconuts.
3. Have most of the money go back to the growers instead of all the middle men involved.
At this time we are asking for people to
register here and request to be notified when the CSC program is set to start. In a nutshell, we will need at least 100 people that order fresh coconuts regularly to get things started.
